what is Vamos

What is Vamos: the software that fills matches and courts

Updated 2026-07-17 · 6 min

Short answer

Vamos is a revenue recovery layer for padel and tennis clubs that fills incomplete matches and last-minute freed courts. It reads bookings from Playtomic or your management software (read-only), then invites the right players on WhatsApp in consented waves and gives the slot to the first who confirms. Every court, full.

What Vamos actually is (and what it is not)

Vamos is the revenue recovery layer that sits on top of your management software or Playtomic and recovers the slots they are typically not designed to fill. It is built for club managers and owners, not for players: the goal is to turn a half-empty court into a full, verified match. It integrates with Playtomic strictly read-only, meaning it reads your bookings and never creates or cancels them.

Vamos is not a management system, not a booking engine and not a payment processor. Your customers keep booking exactly as they do today, through your current tools. Vamos steps in only when a match stays at three players or a court frees up at the last minute, engages the right people on WhatsApp, and hands the slot to whoever confirms first. It does not book on your behalf and it does not take payments.

How Vamos fills matches and freed courts

When a match is incomplete or a court opens up, Vamos identifies players who fit by level, usual time and preferences, then sends targeted WhatsApp invites in waves: a small relevant group first, widening only if the slot is still open. The first player to confirm wins the spot, the remaining invites close automatically, and the match shows as full. There is no group chat to moderate and no double bookings.

This all runs inside guardrails: player consent, quiet hours and anti-spam limits, so people are contacted once, at the right time, only when they are relevant. That is the opposite of blasting many WhatsApp groups for a single spot, which is slow, annoying and does not scale across dozens of slots a week.

Voice Slot Recovery: works even without Playtomic

Not every club runs Playtomic, and some do not want to connect a management system at all. For them, Vamos offers Voice Slot Recovery: when a court frees up, the manager sends a quick WhatsApp voice note describing the slot. The AI transcribes it, you confirm with one tap, and the cascade of invites starts immediately.

This keeps the barrier to entry low. You do not need to change how you take bookings or migrate any data to start recovering revenue. Voice Slot Recovery is also the entry plan, Voice Solo, so a single venue can begin filling freed courts before deciding to connect a booking source.

Where Vamos fits alongside your current stack

Think of your software stack in layers. Your management software and Playtomic are the system of record: bookings, calendar, payments. Vamos is the recovery layer above them, triggered only by the slots they do not fill on their own. Because the Playtomic integration is read-only, there is no risk of Vamos altering your bookings or fighting your management system for control.

Vamos only counts recovered revenue when a match is full and verified, so the number you see is real, not a projection. That makes it straightforward to judge the return: compare the fixed monthly cost per venue against the slots you currently fail to fill each week.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Detect the open slot

Vamos identifies an incomplete match (three of four players) or a last-minute freed court from Playtomic or your management software in read-only mode. Without a connected system, you report the slot by WhatsApp voice note and the AI transcribes it for one-tap confirmation.

  2. 2

    Select the right players

Vamos filters players who fit by level, usual time and preferences, so the new player integrates with the existing group and the match stays balanced.

  3. 3

    Send WhatsApp invites in waves

Vamos contacts a small relevant group first and widens only if the slot is still open, respecting consent, quiet hours and anti-spam limits. No mass messaging across many groups.

  4. 4

Assign to the first who confirms

The first player to accept wins the spot, assigned with a tap, and the remaining invites close automatically, with no double bookings or confusion.

  5. 5

    Verify and measure recovery

When the match is full and verified, Vamos counts it as recovered revenue, giving the manager a clear record of how many slots were actually closed.

Operational checklist

  • Connect Playtomic or your management software in read-only mode, or use Voice Slot Recovery if you have neither
  • Collect and store player consent, with preferred level and time slots
  • Set quiet hours and anti-spam limits so players are contacted correctly, once
  • Let Vamos detect incomplete matches (3 of 4) and last-minute freed courts
  • Send WhatsApp invites in waves and assign the slot to the first player who confirms
  • Review verified filled slots to see the revenue you actually recovered

Frequently asked questions

How much revenue can I recover with Vamos?

It depends on how many incomplete matches and last-minute freed courts you have each week and on your court price. Vamos counts recovered revenue only when a match is full and verified, so you see a real figure. We do not publish invented percentages: estimate the order of magnitude on your own numbers of missing players and hourly rate.

Does Vamos integrate with Playtomic or my management software?

Yes. Vamos sits on top of your management software or Playtomic and integrates read-only: it reads incomplete matches and freed courts but never creates or cancels bookings. If you do not use Playtomic, it still works through Voice Slot Recovery, where you report the freed slot by WhatsApp voice note.

Does it work for tennis and pickleball, not just padel?

The logic is the same for any sport where a slot risks staying incomplete or free at the last minute. The core is engaging the right player quickly and closing the court, whether that is a padel doubles, a tennis match or a pickleball game.

Is Vamos a booking system or a management software?

No. Vamos is neither a booking engine nor a management system. Your customers keep booking through your current tools. Vamos only activates when a match stays at three players or a court frees up, to fill it without touching your existing flow. It does not book and does not take payments.

Is Vamos GDPR compliant?

Vamos engages players only with their consent and within quiet hours. For WhatsApp use and data handling, refer to WhatsApp Business policies and to your data protection authority guidance (for example the ICO in the UK). Vamos is designed to operate within these rules, not around them.

Will players receive too many messages?

No. Vamos sends invites in waves only to players who are relevant by level and time, respects quiet hours and anti-spam limits, and stops as soon as the spot is assigned. It is the opposite of blasting many WhatsApp groups for one open slot.

How much does Vamos cost?

Plans are per venue: Voice Solo at 79 euro per month, Starter at 99 and Pro at 199, with Chain pricing on request. It is a fixed cost per venue against the slots you recover: judge the return on the number of matches and courts you currently fail to fill.

Do I need to change how my customers book?

No. Customers keep booking exactly as they do today, through your management software or Playtomic. Vamos does not replace that flow: it works on top of it, stepping in only when a match is incomplete or a court frees up.
